I was born with a dachshund. In fact, our dachshund was my parents’ first child. My very first sentence was about her: “No more bilk, Barky!” 

I scolded as she tried to clean up the last bit of milk in my cereal bowl.

I’ve shared my whole life with these long little characters until a few years ago, when I lost my little black and tan sidekick to old age. I’m at a 

point in life when having another dachshund just isn’t possible. I miss him every single day. I miss everything about him, even the things that 

drove me a little crazy like always hustling for snacks, barking at absolutely nothing outside the window - and all of his other “dachshundisms”.  

:He was all dachshund.

I started drawing and painting him and it made me happy. And, in a small way, it made me feel like he was still part of my life.

Then I made a T-shirt.

A friend saw it and asked if I could make one for her.

I thought, “Why not?”

And that’s how Hot Diggity Dachshund was born.

Today, I’m creating high-quality apparel, mugs, and wall art for dachshund lovers, all designed to make you smile 

and celebrate the wonderfully odd little creatures we love so much. I don’t want Hot Diggity Dachshund to be just another 

online shop where you click, pay, and disappear into the internet.

I want to know what makes you laugh. I want to know what you wish existed. I want to hear your dachshund stories, 

your crazy ideas and the things only another dachshund person would understand.

I’m building Hot Diggity Dachshund into a little community of dachshund people. I’ll share new designs every month, 

talk about what I’m dreaming up next, hold contests and giveaways and serve up plenty of ridiculous dachshund humor 

along the way.
