Hot Diggity Dachshund

I was born with a dachshund. In fact, our dachshund was my parent’s only child for seven years before I came along. My very first sentence was: “No more bilk, Barky!” when I scolded her, as she lapped up the last drop of milk from my cereal bowl. I had already nicknamed her Barky. You all know why.

I’ve shared my whole life with a dachshund - until a couple years ago, when I lost my little black and tan sidekick to old age. I’m at a point in life when having another dachshund just isn’t possible and I miss him every single day. I miss everything about him, even the things that drove me a little crazy - like constantly hustling for snacks and barking at absolutely nothing. My goodness, he was ALL dachshund.

I started drawing and painting him and it made me happy. And, in a small way, it made me feel like he was still part of my life. Then I made a T-shirt. A friend saw it and asked if I could make one for her. I thought, Why not? And Hot Diggity Dachshund was born.

Today, I’m creating high-quality apparel, mugs, and wall art for dachshund lovers, all designed to make you smile and give a big nod to the wonderful little dogs we love so much.

I don’t want Hot Diggity Dachshund to be just another online shop where you click, pay, and disappear into the internet. I want to know what makes you laugh. I want to know what dachshund gear you wish existed.
